How to pray the Rosary
Introduction
The Rosary is an ancient tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. Originating from St.Dominic De Guzman from a Mary Apparition. During the encounter, Mary told him to "Pray the Rosary everyday". Thus, many Catholics pray the Rosary everyday as a daily devotion to God.
During the Rosary, you repeat prayers while meditating on the mysteries of Christ. The repitition of the prayer is meant to be something you can come back to when your mind begins to wander. This makes the Rosary the most powerful spiritual weapon, prayer tool, and meditation device a Christian can own.
The Rosary
Beginning
- Hold the Crucifix and do the Sign of the Cross.
- State your faith by reciting the Apostles' Creed while still holding the Crucifix.
- Move to the next bead and say the Our Father.
- For the next 3 beads, say a Hail Mary respectively.
- Move to the next bead and say the Glory Be.
Decades
While repeating these prayers, you should be meditating on the mysteries of Christ in respect to what week day it currently is for you. The mysteries are in the next section.
- Move to the large bead and say the Our Father.
- For the next 10 beads, say a Hail Mary respectively.
- In between the next large bead and the last small bead, say both the Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer.

- Sorroful Mysteries: Tuesday & Friday
- 1st Decade:The Agony in the Garden
- 2nd Decade:The Scourging at the Pillar
- 3rd Decade:The Crowning with Thorns
- 4th Decade:The Carrying of the Cross

- Glorius Mysteries: Wednesday & Sunday

Ending
After you have finished the final Fatima Prayer, say the Hail Holy Queen prayer and the St.Michael the Archangel prayer before concluding with the Sign of the Cross.
